This is a fairly new Bluetooth speaker that debuted earlier this year carrying a $100 price tag. The Clip 5 offers a notable improvement over its predecessor, but folks who don’t care about the latest and greatest can also snag the Clip 4 in several colors for $39.95 shipped, instead of its usual going rate of $65. The newer model sports the same fabric-style wrapped housing as the Clip 4, complete with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, and it delivers up to 12 hours of wireless playback on a single charge which is up from 10 hours on the older model. Notably, the Clip 5 brings Auracast support which is missing on the older unit, meaning you can create a multi-speaker setup by pairing two Clip 5s for stereo sound, or wirelessly connect multiple JBL Auracast-enabled speakers for bigger sound.
